‘The Blues’ have been inspiring musicians and artists like me for well over a century. As I read up a little and listened to the music my sketchbook filled with painted ombres in a myriad of blue tones, crotchets, quavers and musical staves. But perhaps my favourite print is the one inspired by Chiquita, Josephine Baker’s cheetah!
